COVID-19/Coronavirus Update

Over the weekend we have seen a return of business restrictions similar to the ones that we saw back in the early months of the pandemic. We are still open and doing everything that we can in order to ensure that your stay with us is clean, sanitary, and safe. We have updated all of our locks to a new, state of the art RFID system and all key cards are placed in a sanitary, one time use sleeve to ensure they are clean and sanitary for every customer. We are still employing enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures in all of our rooms and common areas. We are now using HEPA with UV-C air purifiers in our lobby and front desk area to ensure that that common area is always as sterile as possible. Even though a lot of people pass through that area on a daily basis, you can rest assured that the air is clean, which is the most important thing to cover as they have now discovered that this virus' main mode of transmission is through droplets in the air. We are always looking to and will always do everything we can to ensure your stay is as safe, clean, and sanitary as possible!`

Today, Gov. Pritzker's "Stay at home order" for the state of Illinois officially ends. While this is great news this does not mean we are letting our guard down and neither should you. We are still employing enhanced cleaning procedures to ensure that all rooms and all human contact surfaces are still fully cleaned and disinfected. We were already using UV-C sterilization to sanitize all of our keys. Now we are beginning to test full room UV-C sterilization tech in our rooms where necessary. We are also utilizing ULV fogging in order to ensure that 99.9% of all surfaces, including places we can't normally get to are sterilized. We take your safety very seriously. Without you, we wouldn't be here. So rest assured, when you stay here, we have done everything possible to make sure your stay is as clean and safe as possible. YES WE ARE STILL OPEN!

We are still doubling down on all cleaning and sanitizing procedures in all of our rooms as well as all over the property. We are making sure all door handles and other surfaces that come into human contact are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day. 

We have now added UV-C sterilization procedures to all keys to further protect you against exposure to any thing harmful including the COVID-19 virus. All keys are sterilized for 5 minutes in a UV-C disinfection chamber before and after they are used.

Governor J.B. Pritzker has issued Executive Order 2020-10, otherwise known as the "Stay at Home order". Only essential businesses are allowed to stay open. 

-Hotels and motels are considered essential businesses under Executive Order 2020-10.

This means, during the duration of this order, WE WILL REMAIN OPEN in order to service our guests. We are still implementing bolstered sanitation procedures and will continue to the best of our ability do everything we can to make sure your stay with us is clean, sanitary, and virus free.

We've been around for over 35 years and we've seen and heard just about everything. But today we all face a new challenge in this new viral pandemic, COVID-19. This is new territory for us all but rest assured we are doing everything in our power on our end to make sure that when you stay with us, it will be in a clean, safe, and virus free environment. 

As of today, we will continue to be open and in operation. If this changes we will update you.

We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) for the latest developments related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. We will apply and reinforce any recommendations or mandates from any of these organizations as well as any other national, state, and local recommendations or mandates. 

Our cleaning procedures are already designed and focused on not only cleaning the room at the visual level so that everything looks nice and fresh for our guests, but also at a disinfection level as well. We use very powerful hospital grade cleaners to clean and disinfect all surfaces, both contact and non-contact. We make sure that every surface that you would normally come into contact with during your stay is thoroughly clean and sanitized. Now in order to combat COVID-19, we are doubling down on all procedures to make sure we miss nothing and all rooms are safe for everyone, our guests especially. 

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our guests. Being a family owned business, this is all we have. You, our guests, are extremely important to us. It's because of you that we get to put food on the table at the end of the day and we thank you for that.
